Beth’s Story
Welcome, and thank you for visiting my blog! I appreciate you taking a moment to hear my story, and hope to learn about yours along the journey as well.
This blog was birthed organically out of the integration of 3 of my greatest passions ~
1.) Inspiring Vibrant, Radiant Health ~ Physically, Financially, Mentally, Emotionally & Spiritually
2.) Personal Growth & Leadership Development
3.) My 14 years as a Network Marketing Professional ~ Online & Offline Success Strategies
These 3 passions individually have changed the way I choose to live and the quality of my life more than anything, and I believe that by combining the 3 we truly can make a significant impact on the world!
I hope you find the information I share valuable, and that you stop by often and add your two cents. It is through our shared stories that we can both inspire and be inspired, and move together along the path toward friendship, fulfillment and freedom!

This is information I spent thousands of dollars on and hundreds if not thousands of hours to learn it all! And because I want to help shortcut your process to success, I am sharing it here on my blog for free for you, my valued readers.
The Awakening
My perspective is quite unique, having personally experienced the dramatic shift in my family’s quality of life when my parents traded in 2 6-figure careers to become full-time network marketers. Initially, it was only my Mom who saw the vision and got excited. She was a hugely successful Realtor in Naperville, IL, a suburb of Chicago, but after working 274 days in a row without a single day off, including weekends and holidays, she didn’t hesitate for a moment when she saw that there was a way to work smarter. Considering each time she sold a house she had to essentially start over, and that she did it all on her own, the concepts of leverage and residual income were instantly appealing!
And then there was my Dad, a high-flying corporate executive, out the door before I woke up every morning for his long, bumper-to-bumper commute downtown. He had specialized in analyzing high potential business ventures while earning his MBA from Harvard, so initially took a look at the idea of multi-level marketing with great skepticism, planning to poke holes in it so that my mom and he could return to their successful careers and let go of this crazy possibility that they could create financial security AND have time to enjoy their lives.
That couldn’t be possible, could it????
Well what was intended to be a quick evaluation, turned in to my Dad awakening to a brilliant and powerful business model that allowed my parents to start dreaming again. 15 months later, they replaced their corporate incomes and have never looked back.
Quality Living
Can you imagine what it was like, at 11 years old, to suddenly have BOTH parents working from home, available and involved in my day to day life? I went from struggling to get a second of their attention and barely being able to get a kiss good-night to eating family meals, taking family trips and connecting on a level that I only wish every child could experience.
It was truly life-changing.
Today, not only are my parents some of my best friends, but they are my business mentors as well. And in an industry like network marketing which admittedly can be a maze to navigate, to have mentors who are some of the most respected in the industry for their unwavering integrity and leadership, is an absolute blessing!
Their example, coupled with my formative years being surrounded by some of the most talented, inspiring and successful leaders in both network marketing and personal development, has played a huge role in my passion for paying it forward. As is human nature, however, even with all of this modeled and infused into my adolescence, I still had to learn it on my own time, in my own way.
Discovering My Passion for Health & Wellness
I went to UW-Madison, where I majored in Psychology because I am fascinated with the power of the mind and human potential. While in college, I built my first successful network marketing organization, and because of the mentoring and partnership of my parents, I was able to attract some very talented and driven leaders and created a residual income that not only paid for my tuition, but allowed me to head off traveling for a year after college. 14 years later, I still have a significant number of people on my team from those early days. You know how that goes, you fall in love with the way certain products have produced results for you, and you are a user for life. THAT is the power of residual income!
I ended up spending a little over a year on a truly amazing adventure traveling solo through Australia and New Zealand. It was a time of much soul searching, risk taking, opening and accepting. I discovered during that time that I had a natural capacity to inspire people to be healthier, or at least more conscious about how critical good health is to living a vibrant, full life.
So after my travels, I headed to Maui to a truly amazing personal training school called Strong, Stretched & Centered (which very sadly has closed down!). I then worked as Personal Trainer right over the Bay Bridge from San Francisco for the following 5 years. I loved connecting with people and being a sounding board for their joys and their sorrows. Of course, my favorite part was witnessing people getting fit, healthy and confident, and knowing that I played a significant role. (well, my REAL favorite part of working at the club was meeting my AMAZING husband, who is one of the managers there!) 
Anyhow, I have no doubt that I will make a huge impact on obesity in my lifetime, and have some big plans for fighting childhood obesity specifically down the road. That’s a story for another time!
Abundant Health is a Lot More Than Just Physical
While training was rewarding on many levels, what I found was that it didn’t provide personally or financially the lifestyle I was looking for. I was always at the mercy of my clients schedules, I was stuck in an endless cycle of trading my time for dollars, and at the end of the day I had no time left for ME. I probably could have happily trained a few more years, but I’m thankful that getting pregnant with my son had me push the pause button, because there was absolutely no way I was going to ever have time to enjoy life at the rate I was going. More than anything, the experience reaffirmed what I learned through my parents …. that the quality of life created through leveraged, residual income is absolutely priceless.
Today, I’m able to serve FAR more people than I ever could through personal training, and I’m not limited to just physical health. I’m able to provide a complete solution for whole body wellness: Physical, Financial, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual AND still have the time to be a fully present mom like my parents were for me. As a mother, being able to work from home and earn a far greater income working far fewer hours is the most fabulous thing in the world! Not only am I home for every precious magical moment, but I know that I am mentoring and hopefully inspiring him every single day.
Integrating Personal Development, Health and Network Marketing
Network Marketing is way more than a business, it’s a lifestyle. It’s about having a place to Work Smart, Play Hard and Live Life to the Fullest. Yes it’s about building a thriving business, but it’s also about shining in your community as a person of influence, working with people you want to be around, having a ton of fun and being part of something bigger than yourself.
In my 14 years in the industry, one thing that has always been clear is that most people are looking not only for a business to plug in to, but a place to continually grow and expand. At its very core, it’s about having the resources to live life fully inspired and empowered.
By integrating personal growth and leadership development, the health and prosperity are more accessible, and by working for ourselves but not by ourselves, as a community, we are making a difference on a much more expansive scale. And that opens the door to the ultimate goal of true freedom and fulfillment.

I know my story is atypical. I feel like the stories of rags to riches or struggle to success are inspiring and accessible, but what I hope to inspire through my story is that IT REALLY IS ALL POSSIBLE. When treated like a business, the rewards in network marketing are far greater than almost any other business model that exists!
Yes, it takes work, but if you’re doing work that is aligned with you core values and passions, then it is invigorating, energizing and enlightening! It takes a willingness to let go of the things in your life that are not serving you. It takes a clear purpose and consistent action fueled by PASSION! It takes an unwavering belief in yourself and others. It takes focus, focus, focus on Being the amazing leader, giver and lover that you are!
The most significant part of this all, is that I didn’t have to sell out on my dreams and I have complete control of my life. This is really why so many successful business leaders are shifting to network marketing. The lifestyle it provides simply cannot be matched. We all have to work, the choice becomes, where will you put your valuable time and effort to have the most impact? Building out your dreams, or someone else’s?
Ask any sharp entrepreneur with vision, and they will passionately tell you there is more opportunity now than ever before. That’s why I’m calling on all Leaders who have a burning passion for helping others, who still believe in their ability to live out their dreams and who want to create a lasting legacy of financial well-being that will forever change their lives.

I love your story. We have a lot of similarities including working hard as personal trainers but eventually realized a greater Wholistic Vision for the Free Lifestyle powered by the Entrepreneurial Spirit and educate others on that leverage possibility.

Hi Beth, I love ‘your’ story. Yes you were indeed fortunate to have parents who recognised Network Marketing as a viable business model and handed that on to you. That is one of my goals now. To expose the Network Marketing Model to young people in order for them to ‘get’ a new paradigm around careers and working. Imagine if we all grew up like you did? Wealth, Health and happiness, children getting the nurturing and fun that children need. Freedom and choices to really enjoy this stunning planet and experience all the joys of the physical world. And, dare I say, I wonder what impact this could have on our planet! Wealth and choices to create sustainability and preserve nature and resources. Yes Gloria, I have been blessed to have such mentorship. If you are not getting what you need directly from your upline, then go upline to them! Someone upline should be more than happy to assist you if you are serious about your dreams! You can of course also find mentorship through gurus in the industry ~ that isn’t exactly the same personal type mentorship,, but if you have the right motivation, focus and drive, it can be enough for some! Finally got around to reading the Bio of one of my favorite people. Beth “Nelson” Allen. Great middle name there. I do have one question though. Was this: “I probably could have happily trained a few more years, but I’m thankful that getting pregnant with my son had me push the pause button” the second “Immaculate Conception” I have reread it twice and still miss where your Husband made his entrance to your really fascinating life. Anyway Beth, you are leaving a wonderful trail for others to follow.

One thing I can pride myself with is my connections & the opportunity I have created for myself of spotting people who resonate my ideas. Following your comment on Larry’s Do-Follow Social Bookmarking, via Achieve Balance, Achieve Prosperity, I got to ‘Beth’s Story’. I am impressed. By the very clear expression of your personality in your story. I liked many parts of this story, more particularly the part Integrating Personal Development, Health and Network Marketing . What a life change for you when your parents changed the direction of their lives! And the traveling .. traveling always opens doors to new experiences and new perceptions of life. That happened to me when I traveled years ago in Europe. I enjoyed reading your story and feeling your energy. Nice to know you.

Hi Beth, I was finishing up my training for our weekly Sunday night training calls when I stumbled upon your Blog. My training is called the “Power of Perserverance” and I was so excited to read about you, your story and your life changing experience with Network Marketing…I too lived that lifestyle as a child, but it wasn’t unitl 4.5 years ago that I realized I could chance the cycle for my children…it has not been easy and YES, I have had some major ups and downs, but I would not trade my world in networkmarketing…thanks for sharing all your wisdom and love of happy living with everyone….
