Day 3 ~ Embracing Change for Ultimate Freedom & Fulfillment

I have a few people near and dear to me who I would say are fairly paralyzed in life because of their fear of change.  I do my best to support and encourage, but also know that it’s a process that can only be conquered within.

Embracing change is a mindset after all!

Reading Seth Godin’s post yesterday really resonated with me ~ he talked about this decade being the Decade of Change ~ AND the Decade of Frustration.  It’s up to each one of us to make a CHOICE, and as he stated “being frustrated about change does not mean you’re doing both!”   That cracked me up!   AND, also made me sad….because that is the choice that so many are making purely out of their fear of the unknown.

So in this video, Day 3 of my 30 Day Tribe Mastery Video Challenge, I decided to talk about Change, and why I think people struggle with it and what I think it takes to embrace it.

So cheers to the Decade of Change!

  1. Beth you are such an inspiration! You take Seth’s words and put them into practice. No one can doubt that you’ve chosen to put frustration aside in favor of change! I’m so impressed how far your have reached to grow and grow and grow! It’s a fantastic process, thank you for sharing it with us!

  2. Hi Beth ~ I truly enjoyed watching your video and the things you mentioned that hit-home for me were that to change means to reach further than you have and that you cannot really grow as a person without conscience changes being made. I also agree that change equals fresh energy and exciting…if you can’t tell, I’m someone who always welcomes change :-) Christine

Oh a blast from the past ~ day 3 of my video challenge! :) I’m glad you dove into the archives here, Christine. Yes, sounds like we agree that growth requires conscious changes be made. I always welcome changes as well, which is why I think I’ve like you from the second we ‘met’. :) So glad you enjoyed my video, thanks!

  3. Beth, fate brought me to this post. Thank you for your thoughts about change and retraction. As I listened to you video, I realized that I had been retracting from change in my personal life for several years. Realizing where you are is certainly a start.

  4. Change can be frightening, then how you handle is can be stagnating or liberating.

I remember a Tony Robbins video that said if you fear change your life will never improve. I totally agree. If you can think through what will happen if you don’t face the fear of change, sometimes that inspires you to embrace the change.

  5. Beth, you hit the nail on the head. There are very few of us that willingly except change even if we can see the potential benefits. You are in the minority of people that “love change”. Of course without change, our lives are stagnant and become useless to others. We need to grow.
