Products I Love

I make it a priority to only affiliate myself with products that have made a profound impact on my results and well-being in both business and life! I invite you to explore this page, and see if any of these might be a good fit for you as well.

Detox Tools:

Stainless Steel Tongue Scraper ~ remove bacteria that can lead to a weakened immune system, bad breath and liver stagnation. It also increases saliva production which is a key to optimal digestion. Tongue scraping has helped my breath feel fresher and foods have more flavor.

Natural Bristle Dry Skin Brush ~ the skin is your largest detox organ, sometimes referred to as the “third kidney”. Dry skin brushing is amazing for healthy detoxification and lymphatic drainage. I do this before every shower, it only takes 5 minutes and it has helped with my circulation (I have Reynaud’s) and cellulite, and I know it’s helping tons internally with my digestion and kidney function. It’s kind of addicting! 🙂

Epsom Salts ~ a great source of magnesium (of which MANY people are deficient), soothe muscle aches and pains, flush toxins from the body and improve absorption of nutrients.

Dandy Blend ~ My favorite healthy alternative to coffee! Features the health benefits of dandelion and the rich, full-bodied flavor, smoothness and texture of real coffee. Enjoy rich, smooth, full-bodied coffee flavor without the caffeine, acidity, or bitterness.

Chaga Tea ~ Chaga is a medicinal tea that nourishes the kidneys and the liver. It is wonderful for anyone during a detox because this medicinal mushroom is loaded with antioxidants and minerals essential for a healthy body.

Apple Cider Vinegar ~ My Mother-in-Law has 10 brothers and sisters, and swears by ACV as one of her mother’s secret weapons for keeping them healthy. It’s important you get organic, raw and unfiltered ACV, with “the mother”. Bragg’s is an very reputable brand. Here is a post I wrote on the myriad of benefits of ACV.

Sweet Leaf Stevia ~ Sweet Leaf is the highest quality stevia product I know of, and is a natural, convenient and healthy sweetener for those looking to reduce their sugar intake (and isn’t that everyone?!) 😉 This is the only brand I find doesn’t have a strong aftertaste. Calorie free and diabetic friendly.

Natural Calm ~ Natural Calm helps restore a healthy magnesium level while balancing your calcium intake—the result of which is natural stress relief. This drink seriously changed my life. So many people are suffering from magnesium deficiency and don’t realize it! Not only did my anxiety lessen signficantly, but I went from insomniac to sleeping like a baby. Great drink for athletes as well, as it helps soothe muscles. Just a fair warning, start slowly and build up to find the optimal amount for you. Take too much and your digestive system will not be happy with you!

Garden of Life: Primal Defense ~ This is the probiotic I recommend. There is an Ultra version that I recommend for anyone with leaky gut or any number of digestive or autoimmune issues. Primal Defense is the only probiotic formula that contains a unique whole food blend with Homeostatic Soil Organisms (HSOs), which are important probiotics you would get in abundance if your food came from soil untouched by pesticides, herbicides and other widely used chemicals.

Fermented Cod Liver Oil ~ I recommend FCLO over other fish oils for anyone fermented cod liver oil is a traditional super food that is prepared by old-fashioned methods that preserve the maximum nutritional benefit.  FCLO provides much needed omega 3s, and vitamin A and D in proper proportions – certainly worth taking on a regular basis. Not the best taste, but I find the Cinnamon Tingle is the most palatable. 🙂

Liquid Chlorophyll ~ Chlorophyll is an amazing nutrient. It helps to rebuild and replenish our red blood cells, boosting our energy and increasing our wellbeing almost instantly. It’s a great anti-inflammatory and is used a a natural chelator of heavy metals. I’ll be honest, it’s not my favorite taste, but in a smoothie I don’t really notice it. Or in water with some peppermint oil works too.

Healthforce Superfoods Vitamineral GreenThis is the purest, most nutritionally dense therapeutic green superfood powder I know of. It contains a full spectrum of naturally occurring, absorbable and non-toxic vitamins, minerals, all the essential amino acids that support blood sugar, detoxification, the immune system, liver, kidneys, blood, bones, colon, regularity, circulation and longevity.

Great Lakes Gelatin: Collage Hydrolysate ~ I call this my miracle product. I’ve had acne my entire life, and my skin has been clear for the first time (aside from some ocassional hormonal acne) thanks to this product!  It’s tasteless and will dissolve easily in hot or cold liquids. Easy peasy. It regulates metabolish, contains 90% protein and builds connective tissue in hair, skin and nails. Oh yes it does! 🙂 Great Lakes also makes a gelatin that you can use to make fruit snacks and pudding super nutritious. You can find that one here.

Sun Warrior Protein Powder ~ raw, vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, non-GMO with a complete balance of 9 essential amino acids. My fave protein powder for after my workouts!

Chia Seeds ~ organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan and raw. Great source of protein, fiber, omega 3’s, but my favorite thing about chia seeds is that they absorb liquid to make a gel…which supports hydration and helps you feel full longer! I use these in smoothies, puddings and to make fruit snacks for my kiddos.

Hemp Seeds ~ organic, raw hemp seeds are a great vegan protein source. One of the most nutrient dense foods on Earth. They have a nice nutty flavor, and are great on salads and in soups and smoothies.

Flax Seeds ~ organic, omega-3 rich seeds rich in protein, mucilage, phytosterols and plant lignans. You want to make sure to grind your flax seeds, so you can throw them right in a smoothie if you have a high speed blender, or just grind them before using in baked goods, etc. You can buy flax meal already ground, but it is cheaper to buy the seeds and do it yourself. But if you won’t grind ’em, buy the meal. 😉

Cacao ~ organic, vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO, raw. Great source of magnesium, iron and antioxidants. A healthy alternative to chocolate with all the flavor minus the sugar and processing. I love it in smoothies, puddings, baked goods and hot chocolate!

Maca ~ organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan and raw. Maca is a nutrient-dense root has been traditionally used in Peru as a stress-fighting adaptogen, and to increase stamina, boost libido and combat fatigue. I find it to be a great hormone balancer and has helped my PMS tremendously. You can add it to smoothies, pudding, baked goods or mixed into drinks.

Camu Camu ~ the Camu Berry is one of the most abundant sources of Vitamin C, containing 60 times more per serving than an orange! So this is a go-to for my immune supporting plan for my family in the fall and winter. You can add it any juices, smoothies, yogurt that would blend will with a tart berry kick.

Kitchen Gadgets:

Vitamix ~ This one appliance rules the show in my kitchen. It wasn’t cheap, but I use it every single day, and it has a 7-year warranty! I was burning through blenders before (always just after the typical year warranty, hmmm?), but my vitamix can handle ice like nobody’s business, not to mention barely chopped fruits and veggies. Hot sauces and soups, cold sorbets and soft ice cream….yum! This baby rocks, and is totally worth the investment. Enough said. 🙂

Spiralizer ~ Addicting fun. Who needs heavy, energy-draining pasta noodles when you can make perfect noodles out of zucchini and carrots?! My kids love helping, AND they love the dishes we create! Top with fennel and a homemade tahini dressing you and have a refreshing raw salad. Sautee and use as your pad thai noodles! Top with regular pasta sauce and meatballs, or your homemade “cheese” sauce to really win your kids over. The variations are endless! Did I mention this gadget was addicting? 😉

Immersion Blender ~ This bad boy is a huge time saver! How many times do you need to blend something but not enough to have to clean the whole vitamix or mixer? Enter Immersion Blender. It blends sauces, mashes potatoes, purees soups and baby foods, whips up pudding, applesauce, etc. Super easy to clean, which is pretty high on my list of importance with how much time I spend in the kitchen!

Omega Masticating Juicer ~ This is an AMAZING juicer that will get you more juice, less pulp. Because it’s a low-speed, masticating juicer, it protects and maintains the healthy enzymes, prevents oxidation and allows juice to be stored up to 72 hours without degradation. You can use it to juice, make nut butters, make baby food, and grind coffee and spices. Fairly easy to clean, at least as far as juicers go. 😉

Breville Juice Fountain Multi-Speed ~ This juicer is less expensive than the Omega, and is a great option. It takes up less counter space, is easier to clean and doesn’t require the fruits  and veggies be cut up as small because it is centrifugal instead of masticating. The downside is it isn’t the best for juicing greens and doesn’t extract the same level of nutritients as a masticating juicer. Great affordable place to start though!
