  4. I always wake up at 3 am, sometimes I even wake up earlier. However it usually to go to the Bathroom. Passion I worry about because it might cause me to do something I would not recover from. Just kidding Beth. It is so important to discover your passion in life. Without Passion you’re just treading water waiting for the end.

Nelson, as always, you’re hilarious. 🙂 And very inspiring….definitely never just treading water!

  5. All healing starts at the emotional base. When you are able to move and act from this heart center that is when real healing is available and the right answers and people start to come into your life.

You are definitely right ~ healing is deeply emotional and heart centered, and when we get there, life unfolds before us! Thanks Nicole!

  6. I’ve been learning about this lately! What great timing for me to read this today, thank you.

I’ve also learned that I spend most of my time focusing on what sucks instead of raising my focus onto what is awesome that I have so more awesome can show up. 🙂

    Now… to appreciate <3

  7. Thanks for sharing this Beth. I had a bout of that 3am wake up call. I believe it is the “negative” time of the day. I used to awake with terrible things and just say “be gone” and go back to sleep. Then I had to dig deeper and there was a problem. I faced it and Poof…gone!
    Thank you again,
    Donna

  8. It is so true. The more clear your goals, the faster you can achieve them. It is easier said than done though. Getting your goals defined in detail is hard, at least for me it is. But every time I manage to define it well enough, the road to get there is a lot easier.

  10. Beth,
Enjoyed your post! I’m like Nelson on the 3am wake up and luckily don’t wake up with feelings of unhappiness. If Dave and I weren’t now on the path to success by creating our own businesses and learning from numerous outstanding mentors, I’m sure I wouldn’t fall back asleep at 3am. We’re discovered our passion and yes, you are right, knowing and pursuing your passion is required for happiness and success.

Glad to hear it Dawn ~ I have a feeling you and Dave are like me in this, the only reason I can’t fall back asleep is when my brain kicks in to overdrive with ideas and all the great things going on in life! That’s what living a life with passion does though, and I’ll take it! 🙂

  11. Passion is the key to enjoying life, at any age. I have been talking about “Keeping Passion Alive” for years. One way is through healing touch. Another way is through expressing your true thoughts and emotions. And another is combining the talk with touch. Actually, keeping all your senses vibrant and your mind focused on your goals and dreams….

  12. Hi Beth,
I have had several of those “can’t sleep” nights with butterflies going a million miles a second in my stomach and my mind racing. It’s exciting to be onto something that causes this to happen, and is a certain indication that passion is at work. To keep that intensity alive all the time would kill us, but I believe it is possible to hold on to the rush for years and years if you are staying true to yourself and what you want.

  13. Thanks for sharing. Even though i haven’t woken up 3 A.M in the morning, i do agree with you that finding the passion in our lives is important. Passion is actually doing what you love. If you make your passion your job, you will eventually live a happy, joyful and satisfying life. We all want that, do we?

  14. Hi there,

I really doubt that some kind of test will help you to find purpose in your life. You have to search for your own, to think what makes you happy, to be creative as much as possible. Don’t let somebody else to tell you what you have to do with your life.

    Thank you
    Cheryl

Hi Cheryl ~ I understand what you are saying! This test is just a first step ~ like dipping your toes in the water to get a feel for the water. The full Passion Test (awesome book), however, is really a process that is internal and has you digging deep and searching within for your true purpose. Nobody is telling you what to do at all ~ it is just a tool to assist in the search. 🙂 It has profoundly helped me, and many I know….again, it’s just a tool, there are many out there and I happen to be a huge advocate of this one! Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

  15. If you don’t know what your passion in life is, you need to spend some time identifying it. These things are important – it’s what makes you, well, you.
